My Body, My Dignity

Reproductive Health and Consent Awareness Outreach
Uselu Secondary School, Benin State
In partnership with Novi Generis Class of 2026, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Benin

Completed
ShareAid Foundation outreach team and students at Uselu Secondary School Benin State

ShareAid Foundation's first school-based outreach was delivered at Uselu Secondary School in Benin State on 22 May 2026, in partnership with the Novi Generis Class of 2026 from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Benin.

Under the theme "My Body, My Dignity," the programme brought together pharmacy students, health educators and ShareAid volunteers to reach hundreds of secondary school students with age-appropriate education on reproductive health, bodily autonomy and consent. The sessions were interactive and participant-led, creating space for open conversation on topics that are rarely discussed in school settings.

Students received menstrual health supplies and educational materials. The day closed with a large group gathering that reflected the energy, warmth and genuine engagement that marked the entire programme. It was a strong start for a foundation committed to reaching young people where they are.

Free Community Health Screening and Consultation
Karu, Nasarawa State
In partnership with Bingham University Medical Students' Association (BHUMSA)

Completed
ShareAid Foundation BHUMSA team at Karu community medical outreach Nasarawa State

ShareAid Foundation delivered a free community medical outreach in Karu, Nasarawa State in May 2026, in partnership with Bingham University Medical Students' Association (BHUMSA)

The outreach brought together medical students, healthcare professionals and ShareAid volunteers to provide free consultations, health screenings and targeted health education to community members at no cost. The programme prioritised residents who would otherwise have limited or no access to basic healthcare services.

The partnership with BHUMSA allowed ShareAid to extend its reach significantly, with medical students contributing both clinical knowledge and genuine community energy. Together, the two organisations demonstrated what is possible when institutions align around a shared commitment to community health.
